The longer the card sequences are the more points you will get per card.
The order of cards is a carousel:: …, 4, 3, 2, Ace, King, Queen, Jack, …4, 3, 2…
In case you get stuck, use the Joker card which you can play anytime!
But use them wisely, you never know when you need them most.
